Ascend left onto Mount Saharonim (green trail), a narrow ridge with stunning views into Ramon Crater.
Continue along the ridge, then follow the black trail right, descending toward Nahal Ramon.
Notice Sha'ar Ramon—a dramatic cliff wall where Nahal Ramon exits the crater.
Join Nahal Nekarot downstream, running through the scenic "Parsat Nekarot" horseshoe bend.
Optionally run through the narrow, rocky canyon ("Ma'ok") if conditions are dry, or bypass on a clear trail.
Pass Nekarot Cave—a shaded spot perfect for a short rest.
Reach Mif'ar Nekarot, the southern gap connecting the Ardon and Haririm valleys to Nahal Nekarot.
At the stream junction, follow the trail eastward toward Karbolet Haririm—a distinctive, jagged peak.
Climb around Karbolet Haririm, enjoying panoramic views of colorful Ardon Valley.
Descend toward Nahal Ma'ok and pass beneath tilted rock formations, exiting via "Mif'ar Ma'ok."
Ascend a saddle and descend into Nahal Galad, bypassing two waterfalls.
Observe the unique folded rock layers, shaped by dramatic geological processes.
Take a quick detour left to Ein Galad—a hidden spring ("Tmila") ideal for refreshing.
Continue downstream to the large horseshoe waterfall of Nahal Galad and Kamai.
Briefly detour left to Gev Holit—a natural pool beneath the waterfall, often dry in summer.
Run down the broad Nahal Kamai valley, reaching your endpoint at Gev Holit overnight campsite.
Surface varies: firm gravel, compacted dirt, rocky sections, and sandy washes.
Trail highlights: Saharonim Ridge, Sha'ar Ramon, Parsat Nekarot, Karbolet Haririm, Ein Galad, Gev Holit.
Total recommended distance for trail running: approximately 20-22 km, moderate to challenging terrain.
